iron_and_silverwell today has been eventful.
Stayed up til 4am showing my bro the tape i made for jimmy. I asked him him take on it, he dug it. me and my bro are pretty close actually.
Woke up at 11am, got up showered, took my bro up to UNT to get my last 2 books. i was 30 bucks short. but i gave them my debit card and it worked. whew. maybe my pell grant came in..i'm about to check.
On the way home, i stopped in keller. a VERY small town just minutes from me. I went to the kroger there and bought a envelope to put jimmy's tape in. it has bubbles in it:-) Oh yes. those are fun. I left and realized I was hungry and had a couple of bucks so i went to the only mcdonalds in the town. i actually worked there for about a year and 3 months. That was in summer '98 - sept. '99. it was wild. they had remodeled everything. The lady who took my order was a floor supervisor. She had just been there a month when i quit. It's so strange how life changes.
She was so nice. i got a big mac meal with mustard only:-) they got it wrong and i had to take it back. but i was real nice to them. i never would make a scene..ive worked in my share of fast food places..
She was so nice, she gave my bro a cup for some water w/o charge. Maybe she recognized me? Febe is a pretty hard name to forget..
not to sound cocky..but very few people really forget it.
My bro ate a cheeseburger and basically slept on the table. he was tired i think. Got home at 3 and tried to read LJ friends entries. overloading again..grr.
I typed up the page i wanted to put. The erma bombeck one. Its just so awesome.
This comes from a improntu studio recording. Paul is playing the piano and singing while george and john goof around.
