iron_and_silverLast night, right before i dozed off to sleep i had the most wonderful poetic line come to me. i actually got out of bed, turned on the light and wrote it down. ever since then, ideas have been flowing. here is the line..
You give me a new kind of music.
theres something so good about that. that is so pure to me. say it. it leaves a feeling in your mouth, like the aftertaste of something sweet.
Then at work, the idea of a poetic confession came. kind of confessing all my "poetic sins"
i.e., no particular form, lack of puncuation, etc. haha i love it. i'll work on it before i go to sleep.
Right now, i'm listening to submarine no.3 by the starlight mints. ITS FREAKING AWESOME!! my friend jas emailed it to me out of nowhere. he heard it in the background for some internet company commercial. so he emailed the company and they told him. rock! so he knows i love weird music, so he emailed the mp3 to me. its soooo good!! I love passing the word on a great band. i'll be happy to upload it for anyone.
Tonight, i closed again for the 4th night in a row. grr. im so tired! The good thing is i have seemed to make an friend of this girl at my work. she always kinda rubs me the wrong way but i seemed to still kinda like her. i never knew quite why until tonight. lol. shes always talking to me and saying how cool she thinks i am and then we actually were talking. then she says some kind of sarcastic comment and boom! i, without thinking, smiled and giggled to myself and said under my breath,
Haha. that sounds like sam.
lol thats why i liked her. that kind of fuck off attitude until you can find a way to get under their skin and then they can never get enough of you lol. my best friend christina is like that too.
but, not everyone can figure them out. some never do. but you gotta have patience and a good ear for listening. they don't trust easily so give it time. show them you will be there time and time again. keyword: be laidback and don't scare easily.

anyways, so yeah i closed. i work tommorrow too. (man! it's already mid summer damn!)happy 4th everyone! but i get time and a half so thats good.
it's late. i need sleep. night.
