i did a good deed

hey amy. guess who i gave a ride home too:-) lindsey. the girl we were talking about before class. hahah.

i felt bad cuz she really didnt have a ride and she would've had to walk like 3 blocks in the dark.

we talked about poetry and she told me that she told you how much she digs my work. haha. of course i was humble about it hehe. i really do get all humble when people tell me things like that. no sense in getting a big head. because for all the people who love your work, there is going to be just as many who hate it.

afterwards i decided to swing by brickhaus to hang out and maybe catch some good acts. it was so dead!

and i really didnt recognize anyone and it made me kinda sad so i came home.

GO FRODO! lol. conan just said that. hehe.

le sigh. well near bedtime.

hopefully ill have good dreams. i swear, lately ive been dreaming of horrible bugs.

hmmm yes i think so. because i was merely stating an emotion:-) so therefor, i could still be humble while saying i was humble.

Heh. Lindsay. (or however you spell her name, haha)

She told me yesterday that she doesn't have a car, but I guess she lives close? Hmmm.

I'd really like to give her a chance to like her more, but every time I see her I think about her talking to that girl saying, "I didn't take that class to read stuff like Anne Rice. I'm an English major for a reason. To read literature. You know? Smart stuff." It just sounded so arrogant!

DR. Tanner (Transcendentalism prof.) has asked a few times how many of us in the class are Creative Writing majors (whenever we were discussing poetry or something and it was a Q that a creative writing person might know) and I've never seen her raise her hand to say that's her major. She doesn't like the class (big surprise!) and she was complaining about how Dr. Tanner relates everything to sex!! It's actually not true, though. I write down almost everything he says and I don't have much in my notes about sex. Oy.

I guess she just bugs me with her attitude.

yeah i can totally relate witn you. id really like to get to know her but man her attitude really turns me off as well haha.

oh! and i joined the poetry group this morning. man. your poetry class rocks. mine sucked last semester. like sucked reaall bad.

and yeah. like i said before shes soooo conservative. one time before class started she was like saying she thinks dr.jones poetry is soo teenage and that she went to brickhaus and heard dr.jones read. and that she said it "grossed" her out because she didnt want to hear about dr.jones kissing someone. C'MON! first off, dr.jones showed us her poetry at the end of class and it was great!! i mean really awesome stuff. and what is she 10 years old? It's just a poem. sheesh.
