An English professor wrote the words, "Woman without her man is nothing," on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.

The men wrote: "Woman, without her man, is nothing."
The women wrote: "Woman! Without her, man is nothing."

My English teacher for my junior and senior year (same teacher), introduced the phrase to us (punctuation and all) and we found it humorous. I just never remembered the phrase. Thanks for posting it up.
