Jan. 20th, 2003 11:18 amahhh today.
damnit. i wish i didnt work today.
the family went downtown for the parades and then to see a battle of the bands type thing.
when i was little, my dad would keep us home from school and talk to us about MLKJ. tell us about his life, what he tried to do and so forth. i never really thought about it until i got older. and when the kids would ask me why i stayed home the next day at school, id tell them why. and they wouldnt understand. like i said, i didnt really either.
when my dad isnt being his bastard self, he can really be quite an intelligent and worldly man.
I had a reall good time last night. me daniel and meryl went to see "a guy thing" at the rave. woo. i know how to get there now. it was better than i expected.
I'm reallllly happy with everything and everyone. Sometimes i think im nearing my "last high". Which scares the shit out of me lol. but im not feeling the need to do the crazy shit ive done in the past. I feel like being good. Dont get me wrong, my wild streak still exists:-) Who knows. Im turning 23 in march. damnit. i always thought id be dead before i was 20. i have no idea why. i made peace with with my oncoming demise when i was 15 hahaha. yes. ive always been this weird.
Anyways. damnit I LOVE THE DANDY WARHOLS. i sooo wish they'd come to town. dream concert: dandy warhols and imperial teen hehe. then me and richard can go backstage.
ok richard! haha. i was watching SNL saturday. and it was an old one. like this spoof of the tv show "the view". well in the skit one of the hosts said, "If i had a clone, id have sex with it!" hahahahaha
man im sore. i tried sleeping in today. didnt work. i woke up at the time my alarm clock usually goes off. then i woke up at 9. then 9:30. and then i layed in bed for 30min haha. damnit!
i hope its slow at work today and that i have alot of fun haha. i dont have to stay until 6:30. woo. just 6 yay! but no lunch. thats ok. i can make it..yes. i can make it.
man. i need a shower. i think im gonna go buy a shirt and some iron on letters. and put the words "hot meat curtains" and "yoplait express" on back hahah
oooh i gotta do homework tonight. high fidelity is on tv tonight. wooo. im so excited.
oooh i know! im sore because i havent stretched all weekend. so now i feel all tense.
